BeritaGresik.com – Anggota MPR RI Arwani Thomafi mengedukasi sekaligus memperkuat pemahaman para generasi muda tentang pentingnya empat pilar kebangsaan dan kenegaraan agar semakin menghayati nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
Ajakan itu disampaikan Arwani saat melaksanakan sosialisasi dan diskusi terkait Pancasila, Undang-undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia 1945, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, dan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) bersama Generasi Muda Pembangunan Indonesia (GMPI) di Rembang, Rabu (6/3/2024).
“Dalam kesempatan ini saya juga ingin menyampaikan pentingnya semangat dasar Pancasila dalam menghadapi Pemilu 2024 agar para pemuda tidak salah dalam memilih pemimpin dan wakilnya,” ucapnya.
Ia juga mengatakan pada Pemilu 2024, jumlah pemilih di Indonesia didominasi generasi muda yang mencapai 55% dari keseluruhan pemilih. Dengan begitu, partisipasi anak muda sebagai pemilih akan menentukan nasib bangs aini kedepan.
“Kalau melihat tingginya jumlah itu, maka penting bagi generasi muda agar paham dan punya literasi sebelum memilih. Sehingga nantinya mereka yang terpilih adalah orang yang memegang teguh nilai dasar bangsa kita,” tuturnya. (as)
