Menurutnya, Indonesia sudah punya pengalaman Panjang dalam menyelenggarakan pemilu secara demokratis, jujur dan adil. Karena itu, ia meyakini Pemilu 2024 yang akan datang juga akan berlangsung dengan damai dan kondusif.
“Kami berharap setiap warga turut serta dalam mengawasi jalannya pemilu secara jujur dan adil, yaitu menjadi saksi untuk mencermati setiap tahapan pemilu. Dengan demikian integritas pemilu dan pilkada akan selalu terjaga,” tuturnya.
Anggota Komisi I DPR RI itu juga berharap digelarnya kegiatan sosialisasi Empat Pilar MPR ini dapat menambah wawasan dalam membangun kedewasaan berpolitik menuju pemilu yang jujur dan adil, serta tidak disertai praktik kecurangan.
Dengan begitu, harkat dan martabat serta kewibawaan masyarakat Rembang akan terjaga, dengan tetap berpedoman pada Empat Pilar MPR RI, yaitu Pancasila, UUD 1945, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika dan NKRI.
