BeritaGresik.com – Ketua Fraksi Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) MPR RI Arwani Thomafi melaksanakan sosialisasi empat pilar MPR RI bersama pengurus Ranting dan PAC PPP di Kecamatan Lasem, Rembang, Sabtu (15/6/2024).
Dalam kesempatan itu, anggota Komisi I DPR RI itu menekankan pentingnya bagi seluruh elemen masyarakat agar terus berupaya merawat keberagaman dalam menghadapi era globalisasi.
“Keberagaman adalah suatu bentuk pengakuan dan penerimaan akan masing-masing individu. Keberagaman dalam konteks globalisasi menjadi penting karena menyebabkan batas-batas potensi sumber daya alam maupun manusia tidak lagi terbatas demografi dan ras,” ucapnya.
Menurutnya, globalisasi menjadi tantangan dalam setiap level di masyarakat, baik dalam level negara, komunitas, ataupun korporasi. Tanpa penanaman nilai keberagaman yang kuat, sulit bagi masyarakat beradaptasi dengan perubahan sosial budaya yang dibawa globalisasi.
Dia juga menjelaskan, bahwa globalisasi membuka akses yang lebih luas terhadap berbagai produk budaya dari luar negeri seperti film, musik, makanan, dan gaya hidup. Hal itu dapat memicu pergeseran perilaku dan pola konsumsi masyarakat yang cenderung mengadopsi budaya asing.
“Dampak positif dari globalisasi budaya yakni adanya perubahan tata nilai dan sikap yang semula irasional menjadi rasional. Lalu berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi memberikan kemudahan dalam beraktivitas dan mendorong untuk berpikir lebih maju,” pungkasnya. [as]
