BeritaGresik.com – Ketua Fraksi PPP MPR RI Arwani Thomafi mengajak para santri dan tokoh masyarakat agar selalu menjaga persatuan dan kekompakan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat menjelang pelaksanaan Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2024.
Hal itu disampaikan Arwani saat melaksanakan Sosialisasi Empat Pilar MPR RI bersama santri Pondok Pesantren Nurul Al Anwar di Kabupaten Pati, Jawa Tengah, Sabtu (11/11/2023).
“Perlu kita pahami Bersama bahwa kekuatan bangsa ini terletak pada persatuan dan kesatuan kita. Karena itu, mari jaga dan amalkan nilai-nilai Pancasila secara menyeluruh,” ujarnya.
Dian menjelaskan, pemilu merupakan ajang bagi masyarakat Indonesia untuk mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila, salah satunya yakni mempererat tali silaturrahmi di antara sesama.
“Masyarakat dapat menjadikan pemilu sebagai ajang melakukan pertemuan langsung dengan calon legislative dan calon presiden, sehingga mengenal calon pemimpin yang akan dipilih nanti,” ucapnya. (as)
