BeritaGresik.com – Ketua Fraksi Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) MPR RI Arwani Thomafi melakukan kunjungan ke Kecamatan Kragan, Rembang, Sabtu (17/12/2022. Dalam pertemuan itu juga digelar Sosialisasi Empat Pilar MPR RI bersama santri Pondok Pesantren Ngalah Dukuh Gumbeng.
Di kesempatan itu, anggota Komisi I DPR RI itu mengajak kepada para santri dan tokoh masyarakat untuk selalu menjaga keberagaman dan saling menghormati perbedaan yang ada. Dengan begitu, cita-cita Indonesia untuk menjadi negara maju akan tercapai.
Menurutnya, para penggagas Pancasila sangat memahami bahwa kultur bangsa ini tidak mungkin diseragamkan, namun bisa dipersatukan. Karena itu, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika harus dijaga dengan sebai-baiknya, agar persatuan bangsa tetap terjaga.
“Kita juga harus sadar bahwa menyatukan bangsa ini menjadi negara kesatuan memerlukan perjuangan yang sangat panjang dan pengorbanan yang besar. Hal itu dilakukan oleh para pendahulu kita, termasuk para ulama,” ucapnya.
Dia menjelaskan, upaya menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa dalam konteks keberagaman bukan tanpa tantangan, terutama di era globalisasi seperti sekarang ini. Gangguan itu bisa saja datang dari luar maupun dari anak bangsa sendiri.
Karena itu, MPR RI dikatakan terus berupaya menanamkan semangat persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa kepada seluruh rakyat Indonesia lewat berbagai program, termasuk Sosialisasi Empat Pilar MPR RI. []
