BeritaGresik.com – Anggota MPR RI Arwani Thomafi menyosialisasikan empat pilar kepada para guru yang tergabung dalam Forum Komunikasi Guru Manbaul Ulum di Juwono Town, Caffe dan Resto, Kabupaten Pati, Selasa (5/10/2023).
Dalam kesempatan itu, Arwani mengingatkan peran penting para guru dalam upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila kepada para generasi muda dan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah.
“Pendidikan karakter sangat penting dilaksanakan di sekolah supaya membuat anak menjadi lebih baik dan disiplin. Di sinilah guru memainkan peranan penting itu,” aujarnya.
Anggota Komisi I DPR itu juga menjelaskan salah satu tugas konstitusional yang diamanahkan kepada MPR, yang dalam implementasinya diselenggarakan melalui sosialisasi empat pilar MPR RI.
Empat Pilar MPR tersebut adalah Pancasila sebagai dasar negara, landasan ideologi, falsafah, etika moral serta pandangan hidup bangsa. Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Tahun 1945 sebagai landasan konstitusional. Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) sebagai konsensus soliditas kebangsaan, serta Bhinneka Tunggal Ika sebagai semboyan pemersatu bangsa. [as]
