BeritaGresik.com – Anggota MPR RI Arwani Thomafi menyatakan Pancasila menjadi suatu hal yang penting dalam menghadapi tantangan dan perkembangan teknologi informasi di era digital.
“Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi digital, kita dihadapkan pada berbagai peluang dan tantangan yang perlu dihadapi dengan kesadaran akan nilai-nilai dasar Pancasila,” kata Arwani.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan anggota Komisi I DPR RI itu dalam sosialisasi empat pilar MPR RI bersama tokoh masyarakat di Pondok Pesantren An-Nur Krian, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, Sabtu (16/12/2023).
Menurutnya, nilai-nilai dasar Pancasila perlu di aplikasikan secara bijak dan seimbang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar masyarakat dapat menghadapi perubahan yang cukup pesat.
“Peran Pancasila dalam era digital sangat krusial sebagai penyaring atau filter yang membantu dalam memilah informasi dan budaya yang dapat diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat Indonesia,” tuturnya.
Selain itu, Pancasila dikatakan dapat menjadi panduan untuk mengatasi tantangan etika dan moral dalam perkembangan teknologi dan informasi yang pesat.
Peran Pancasila pada era digital menekankan persatuan dan kesatuan dalam keberagaman, Pancasila dapat membimbing masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk memperkuat persatuan dan mencegah pertikaian,” pungkasnya. [as]
