BeritaGresik.com – Pemanfaatan limbah sampah kerapkali menjadi hal kurang mendapat perhatian serius di masyarakat, bahkan terkadang masih banyak warga yang membuang sampah tanpa diolah dan dimanfaatkan ulang.
Di Desa Banjarsari, pedesaan yang berjarak sekitar 500 meter dari terminal Bunder. Ibu-ibu yang dikordinir oleh tim pemberdayaan kesejahteraan keluarga (PKK) melakukan sebaliknya. Ibu-ibu yang tergabung tim Pkk Desa Banjarsari menyulap sampah sampah menjadi beberapa produk yang bernilai ekonomis.
Ada berupa tas, sandal, rompi, dan bros hijab. Semua dikemas dari olahan sampah plastik. Menariknya, produk yang terbuat dari sampah plastik ini tahan air dan cukup bertahan kisaran dua tahunan.
Mereka memberikan brand produk itu berkah sampah banjarsari (BSBB). Owner dari 12 orang pembuat produk Wiwik Pujiati tampak semangat datang ke kantor desa Banjarsari. Bagaimana tidak, beberapa produknya bahkan dipamerkan oleh beberapa model dan menjadi pajangan di acara lounching kegiatan Desa Berdaya.
Wiwik mulai bercerita, dalam produk yang dihasilkan dari plastik ini ada empat sampai enam lapis plastik untuk menjadi tas. Plastik-plastik itu ia dapatkan bersama tim dari pungutan di beberapa tempat. Mulai dari sampah rumah tangga sampai sampah plastik pasca dibuat berkat (hadiah Red) oleh masyarakat setempat.
“Semua dari bahan plastik, yang kamu kumpulkan di bank sampah desa. Sedangkan untuk plastik warna merah putih kami dapatkan dari bekas loundri masyarakat,” ucapnya kepada wartawan di acara Lounching Desa Berdaya, Selasa (7/12/2021).
Perempuan asal Perumahan Banjarsari Asri Desa Banjarsari Kecamatan Cerme Kabupaten Gresik itu dibantu oleh pihak desa dari Ketua penggerak PKK Ninik Alfiani. Dirinya bersama timnya sudah menekuni dunia olah sampah plastik sejak tahun 2018. Perempuan berusia 41 tahun ini yang juga sudah aktif di bank sampah bersama para penggerak aktivis lingkungan.
Selain itu, Wiwik juga mengkombinasikan sampah plastik dengan kain bekas yang dapat menghasilkan variasi jenis tas wanita. Dan masih belum dilakukan penjualan secara komersial. “Sementara masih sistem pre order,” imbuhnya.
Nah, bagaimana cara membuat produk itu, Wiwik menjelaskan, berawal dari memungut dan memilah sampah plastik dari bank sampah, kemudian dibersihkan, dicuci pakai sabun, lalu dikeringkan, kemudian disetrika, dan dibuatkan pola desain produk hingga proses penjahitan.
“Dengan kisaran harga tas mulai Rp 40 ribu sampai 150 ribu,” tambahnya.
Bagaimana dengan omset penjualan produk itu? Wiwik bersama timnya melakukan pertemuan satu bulan sekali. Dengan melihat beberapa hasil produk dari sampah plastik.
“Satu hari bisa dua penjahitan, atau dua produk tas, dan paling banyak saat ada orderan kampanye partai atau saat momen kampanye partai politik. Hingga menghasilkan omset terbesar Rp 1 juta lebih,” jelasnya.
Tampak para srikandi Bank Sampah Banjarsari berpose model membawa produk hasil olahan sampah plastik saat lounching berlangsung.
Kepala Desa Banjarsari Agus Suwondo mengatakan, dengan dilakukan lounching ini bisa meningkatkan ekonomi kerakyatan.
“Dari sampah yang bernilai rupiah, baik sampah dari rumah tangga maupun industri,” ucapnya.
Kini, produk olahan tim Pkk Desa Banjarsari ini sudah mempunyai relasi jaringan ke negara Belanda. Namun masih belum dilakukan ekspor resmi.
“Secara relasi ada rencana ke Belanda, untuk menjadi desa devisa. Kami sudah mengirimkan 1 Box yang isinya 100 produk dari sampah plastik,” terangnya.
Suwondo berharap, dengan adanya produk daur ulang sampah di desanya bisa menjadikan Desa Banjarsari berdaya dan mandiri.
“Terimakasih kepada Pemkab Gresik, Pemprov, ini awal kami launching Desa berdaya,” ujarnya.
Camat Cerme Suyono menyampaikan, produk yang berbahan bekas sampah plastik ini merupakan produk unggulan Desa Banjarsari. Ini sekaligus mengangkat mindset (cara pandang -Red) masyarakat tentang sampah plastik yang tidak terpakai bisa menghasilkan produk.
“Seperti yang dikelola oleh ibu Pkk Desa Banjarsari ini, ”ungkapnya.
Disamping itu juga, warga Desa Banjarsari juga memanfaatkan pelepah pisang untuk produk lukisan yang diakomodir oleh karang taruna sesuai pesanan.
“Dari beberapa produk ini, Desa mempunyai keunggulan. Diantaranya, mengangkat kualitas desa dan mengurangi pengangguran di Desa. Meskipun dari limbah plastik atau tidak berharga, kita kemas dan promosi. Dari hal remeh menjadi branded,” jelasnya.
“Lanjutkan, teruslah berkiprah, berjuang, untuk Banjarsari menuju desa mandiri,” tutupnya. Sekedar diketahui, produk tas hasil sampah plastik ini juara 1 produk unggulan saat pameran di Surabaya. Dan mendapatkan penghargaan dari Provinsi melalui Desa Berdaya dan BUMDesnya. (abr)
