BeritaGresik.com – Ketua Fraksi (Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) MPR RI Arwani Thomafi menggelar sosialisasi empat pilar MPR kepada ratusan masyarakat di Kabupaten Rembang, Jawa Tengah, Selasa (13/6/2023).
Ia mengatakan, empat pilar MPR terdiri atas Pancasila sebagai dasar negara, landasan ideologi, falsafah, etika moral, serta alat pemersatu bangsa, Undang-Undang Dasar Tahun 1945 sebagai landasan konstitusional.
“Berikutnya, yakni Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) sebagai konsensus yang harus dijunjung tinggi serta semboyan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika sebagai semangat pemersatu bangsa,” jelasnya.
Menurut anggota Komisi I DPR RI itu, sosialisasi empat pilar harus terus diberikan kepada masyarakat. Hal itu penting mengingat saat ini Indonesia sedang menghadapi globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi.
Sosialisasi empat pilar diharapkan dapat membangun karakter dan wawasan kebangsaan. Dengan begitu, bangsa Indonesia diyakini dapat menyiapkan generasi bangsa agar menjadi sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan memiliki nasionalisme tinggi.
“Sebagai orangtua, kita harus menyiapkan generasi yang unggul dan mampu membawa Indonesia menjadi negara yang maju. Namun juga tetap memiliki rasa cinta tanah air yang tinggi,” pungkasnya. (as)
