JAKARTA – Sekjen DPP Partai Persatuan Pembangunan, Arwani Thomafi menyatakan pihaknya siap mendukung suksesnya pelaksanaan Muktamar ke-34 Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) yang akan berlangsung di Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Darussa’adah, Gunungsugih, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, Lampung.
“PPP siap mendukung kelancaran dan suksesnya pelaksanaan Muktamar NU di Lampung. Kami ingin melihat penyelenggaraan Muktamar ini berjalan baik dan maksimal,” Kata Arwani, Selasa (21/12/2021).
Menurut pria yang akrab disapa Gus Sekjen itu, NU merupakan salah satu organisasi keagamaan terbesar di Indonesia, bahkan di dunia, yang berperan besar atas lahirnya partai berlambang Ka’bah.
“Bahkan, sampai saat ini sangat banyak kader dan pengurus PPP yang tercatat aktif di kepengurusan NU, baik itu di Majelis Syariah maupun di pengurus harian,” jelasnya.
Karena itu, pihaknya dikatakan telah mengintruksikan kepada seluruh pengurus dan kader PPP se-Indonesia untuk membantu kelancaran pelaksanaan Muktamar NU ke-34 NU di Lampung.
“Kami telah mengintruksikan kepada pengurus PPP seluruh Indonesia untuk membantu kelancaran Muktamar NU ini,” tegasnya.
Salah satu bentuk dukungan yang ditunjukkan PPP yakni memberikan layanan tes antigen gratis kepada peserta Muktamar. Layanan tersebut diberikan sebelum para peserta memasuki wilayah Lampung.
“PPP memfasilitasi tes antigen gratis kepada peserta Muktamar NU yang hendak menyeberang ke Lampung. Kami juga menyediakan layanan vaksinasi bagi peserta muktamar yang belum vaksin Covid-19,” pungkasnya. [as]
