BeritaGresik.com – Ketua Fraksi Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) MPR RI Arwani Thomafi menggelar kegiatan Sosialisasi Empat Pilar MPR di Pondok Pesantren Mansajul Ulum, Kecamatan Margoyoso, Pati, Kamis (22/2/2023).
Dalam kesempatan itu, Arwani mengingatkan ancaman bahaya radikalisme yang jelas sangat bertentangan dengan Empat Pilar Bangsa Indonesia, yang meliputi Pancasila, UUD 1945, Negara dan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) dan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
“Kita tidak boleh lengah, ancaman radikalisme dan paham ideologi transnasional selalu ada setiap saat, tidak hanya di tengah-tengah masyarakt kita, tapi juga bisa datang melalui media sosial internet,” tuturnya.
Menurutnya, radikalisme memiliki dampak besar terhadap rusaknya persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa dan mengancam keutuhan NKRI. Karena itu, ia mengajak kepada semua pihak agar mewaspadai ancaman radikalisme.
“Ancaman bagi tegaknya suatu negara tidak hanya berbentuk infasi atau serangan militer dari negara lain, tapi juga melalui penyebaran paham radikal yang mengarah pada tindakan atau aksi terorisme,” ujarnya.
Dia berharap dengan diselenggarakannya sosialisasi Empat Pilar Kebangsaan dapat menguatkan rasa nasionalisme dan semangat patriotism, terutama dikalangan anak muda.
“Tugas warga negara itu membela negaranya agar negara ini tetap utuh dan tidak terganggu dengan berbagai hal yang membuat negara hancur,” pungkasnya.[]
