Lahir dan tumbuh di Desa Tambak, Eril menempuh pendidikan di SMPN 1 Tambak dan lulus tahun 2006, kemudian melanjutkan pendidikan di SMA Negeri 1 Sangkapura dan lulus pada tahun 2009. Kemudian melanjutkan jenjang pendidikannya di Akademi Pelayaran Universitas Hangtuah Surabaya. selama menempuh pendidikan di Akademi pelayaran ini, Caleg melenial inipun juga pernah terpilih menjadi Komandan Kompi Korps Nautika Angkatan 2009-2010.
Setelah lulus dari akademi pelayaran, kemudian Eril memulai karirnya menjadi seorang perwira pelaut dan bergabung dengan perusahaan PSA Marine Singapore pada tahun 2015 hingga tahun 2020.
Setelah mendapat pengalaman kerja sebagai seorang pelaut selama 5 tahun, kemudian memutuskan berhenti dan berkarir di darat. Eril menjabat sebagai Direktur Utama PT. Cahaya Tunas Pofah (Depo Vision) yang bergerak di bidang teknologi dan jaringan hingga saat ini.
Eril menikah dengan seorang perempuan cantik asal desa Sungai Rujing kecamatan Sangkapura bernama Ruziqa Farhawati dan dikaruniai seorang putra bernama Giandra Januerzi Prabowo.
