BeritaGresik.com – Ketua Fraksi Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) MPR RI Arwani Thomafi mengajak masyarakat untuk menggunakan hak pilihnya pada pemilu 2024 yang akan datang.
Ajakan itu disampaikan Sekjen DPP PPP itu saat melaksanakan kegiatan Empat Pilar MPR RI bersama kader dan pengurus DPC PPP Kabupaten Solok,Selasa (5/12/2023).
“Menggunakan hak pilih itu sangat penting, karena para kontestan atau calon terpilih itu nantinya akan menjadi pelaksana dari sistem ketatatanegaraan yang diamanatkan oleh UUD 1945,” ujarnya.
Menurut dia, sebaik apapun sistem ketatanegaraan yang sudah dimiliki Negara Indonesia saa ini, semuanya akan bergantung pada manusia yang menjalankan yang dihasilkan lewat pemilu.
Karena itu, partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemilu sangat diharapkan, sebab menurutnya pemilu menjadi momentum yang tepat untuk menentukan pemimpin dan wakil rakyat yang diharapkan bisa membawa kemaslahatan bagi masyarakat.
“Kalau mau negara ini dijalankan oleh orang-orang yang baik, yang memperjuangkan aspirasi masyarakat, maka ditentukan oleh masyarakat itu sendiri melalui pemilu,” pungkasnya. []
