Tongkang yang terputus talinya itu diketahui BG Gold Trans 322. Tali pengikatnya terputus dari kapal tug boat Trans Power yang berangkat dari perairan Banjarmasin menuju Rembang, Jawa Tengah.
Kronologisnya, kapal tongkang itu diketahui hilang saat kapal Tb Trans Power 162 berada di perairan Bawean. Tepatnya di Kecamatan Tambak Pulau Bawean, Selasa (7/12/2021).
Informasi mengenai kejadian putusnya tali tongkang Bg Gold Trans 322 ini disampaikan oleh nahkoda kapal capt Fandy D. P Tamba.
Menurutnya, gelombang yang cukup tinggi kisaran 2.5 sampai 5 meter mengakibatkan putusnya tali kapal tongkang muatan batu bara itu. “Melaporkan kejadian dan berteduh dari cuaca ekstrem,”ucapnya.
Kanit Satpolairud Pulau Bawean Bripka Sodiq Susanto menjelaskan, kapal tongkang yang hilang itu berangkat sejak hari Sabtu (4/12/2021) sekitar pukul 18.00 WIB. Adapun Tb Trans Power 162 menarik tongkang Bc Gold Trans 322 berada pada posisi titik koordinat 06°01’383″S/111°57’754″E.
“Dengan sisa jarak 44 mil dari pelabuhan Rembang namun dengan adanya ombak setinggi 2, 5 meter kapal mengalami trouble,” jelasnya.
Kemudian, sekitar pukul 22.00 Wib kecepatan kapal tiba tiba-tiba turun hingga 2 knot dan tiba tiba-tiba mesin mati.
“Mesin mengalami kerusakan, karena propeler sebelah kanan terbelit tali (tali stoper long towing) hingga rusak. Dan kerusakan pada mesin kiri dan kanan membuat kapal berhenti. Sedangkan cuaca semakin bergelombang hingga 5 meter membuat kapal hampir terbalik,” ungkap Sodiq.
Atas kejadian itu, lanjut Sodiq, kapten kapal seketika memutus tali stoper towing. “Kami juga sudah berkoordinasi dengan pihak Syahbandar Gresik,” pungkasnya. (as)
