Aktivis tuli asal Gresik bernama Aisyah Greisseeta Az-Zahra menulis surat terbuka sebagai bentuk protes keras.
Sebelumnya, pada peringatan Hari Disabilitas Internasional 2021 itu, Risma mengajak dialog seorang anak Rungu Wicara bernama Aldi. Mantan Wali Kota Surabaya itu memaksa Aldi untuk berbicara.

Saya terlahir Tuli sebagai cara Allah menguji coba orang tua yang melahirkan saya.
Saya bersyukur sekali bisa mengenal dunia Tuli dengan Bahasa Isyarat ☺️❤️
Saya membuktikan bahwa bisa tahu melukis doodle art profesional, video puisi tentang bahasa isyarat, dll. Sehingga saya meraih prestasi banyak hingga nasional. Aisyah menjadi dapat mengembangkan lebih kemampuan bersama teman-teman Tuli.
Bagaimana cara komunikasi? Alhamdulillah sejauh ini saya selalu menggunakan bahasa isyarat, menulis di buku tulis atau kertas dan HP jika saya tidak bicara pakai suara. Alasan mereka pasti susah memahami apa yang saya dikatakan lebih baik bergerak apa yang saya maksud untuk sampaikan yang ada.
Jujur ya, saya kaget mendapat berita sangat tentang Ibu Risma yang memaksa teman Tuli harus berbicara pakai suara ????????????????????????.
Orang tua Aisyah sudah berusaha keras terapi bicara sejak kecil tapi aisyah belum bisa. Tuli aisyah kanan 120 db dan kiri 110 db.
