BeritaGresik.com – Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional (HPSN) yang jatuh pada tanggal 21 Februari 2023 lalu, PT Pertamina Lubricants (PTPL) melalui salah satu pabriknya Production Unit Gresik (PUG) menggelar kegiatan “Ngopi Gratis untuk Pahlawan Lingkungan” di Warung Kopi Sampah, Kelurahan Sidokumpul, Gresik, Jawa Timur, Senin (27/2/2023).
Warung Kopi Sampah merupakan program dimana PTPL menggandeng masyarakat milenial Karang Taruna RW 7 Kelurahan Sidokumpul Kabupaten Gresik untuk menggabungkan budaya ‘ngopi’ dengan isu lingkungan. Dalam warung ini, juga terdapat gerakan “Ngopi Bayar Pakai Sampah” dimana masyarakat bisa menukarkan sampah dengan kopi. Ini sebagai bentuk komitmen untuk mempromosikan kesadaran lingkungan dan mengurangi dampak limbah plastik di Gresik.
“Ngopi Gratis untuk Pahlawan Lingkungan” dilaksanakan selama satu minggu dari tanggal 23 Februari-1 Maret 2023. Kegiatan ini ditujukan untuk para pahlawan lingkungan, yakni Pasukan Kuning dan Pasukan Drainase yang selama ini berperan aktif dalam aksi kebersihan lingkungan di wilayah Kecamatan Gresik.
Pembukaan kegiatan dihadiri oleh Camat Gresik Arip Wicaksono, Perwakilan dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Gresik Umaya, Lurah Sidokumpul Sulaiman Rasjid, para Pasukan Kuning, Pasukan Drainase, dan Karang Taruna Jagal Bangkit dari Kelurahan Sidokumpul.
Dalam sambutannya, Camat Gresik Arip Wicaksono menyampaikan apresiasi yang setinggi-tingginya terhadap Warung Kopi Sampah.
“Terima kasih kepada Warung Kopi Sampah, yang terus bergerak untuk mengedukasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah. Terimakasih kepada PT Pertamina Lubricants yang sudah berperan aktif untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat Kecamatan Gresik dan secara konsisten mengkampanyekan gerakan peduli sampah,” imbuhnya.
Senada dengan Arip, Manager PUG Setyo Nugroho juga menyampaikan apresiasi kepada para pahlawan lingkungan yang tidak kenal lelah dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, sehingga masyarakat dapat hidup dengan bersih dan sehat.
Setyo berharap apresiasi dari kegiatan ini mampu memberikan motivasi dan semangat yang lebih tinggi lagi untuk para pahlawan lingkungan.
Selain kegiatan “Ngopi Gratis untuk Pahlawan Lingkungan”, seluruh tamu juga turut melakukan penanaman 100 bibit tanaman cabai untuk memperkuat ketahanan pangan masyarakat. (as)
